The UCR Learning Center offers low-cost seminars to help students prepare for five major exams required by graduate schools and professional schools: the CSET Multiple Subjects exam (for elementary teaching credential programs); the GMAT exam (for MBA programs); the GRE exam (for graduate programs); the LSAT exam (for law schools); and the MCAT exam (for medical schools). The CSET, GMAT, GRE, and LSAT Seminars meet on three consecutive Saturdays and include a pretest, workshops covering all test sections, and access to a posttest; the fee for these seminars is $80. The MCAT Seminar is an intensive two-quarter class that meets twice a week during the Winter and Spring Quarters, including a Saturday pretest and posttest, and focuses on critical reading and writing skills; the fee for the MCAT Seminar is $240. Seminars are available only for full-time registered UCR students. Students can sign up online or at the front desk of the Learning Center. Seminars are cancelled if there are insufficient numbers of interested students.
