Interested in Becoming a Peer Counselor?


Are you interested in helping students make a successful transition into college? If so, you might have what it takes to become an ACE or A.S.A.P.! peer counselor.

GPA requirements for becoming an ACE or A.S.A.P.! peer counselor are:
Quarter and cumulative GPA of 3.0, and a minimum of 90 units.

If you are interested in applying and meet the GPA requirements, please contact Alex Bleza for an application (applications are taken every quarter each year). In addition to the application, the following are also required:

  • A list of two staff or faculty names we can contact for recommendations.
  • A résumé of work experience.
  • A one page, double spaced, typed letter of interest.

Note: Applicants selected for training must complete Practicum which consists of class instruction, staff and peer mentoring training.
