I help students with study skills in general. I also help them with
any questions they may have on any campus matter, e.g. conflicts, financial
aid, dorm life, classes, the UCR catalog, financial aid appeals, ACE contracts
(for those particular students that are referred by their Dean), etc.
I am just a valuable resource for someone who just does not know who to
talk to about questions that they have about college.
I am a UCR alumni. I received the UCR alumni award for Community Services. I am the UCR men's soccer club coach and soccer instructor. I am very active in Latino and Chicano campus organizations and the PTA. I am a happily married family man with 3 great kids. My wife is also a UCR alumni. I have a great sense of humor; Just ask anybody in the Learning Center. Also, my twin brother works here on campus. So, if I don't say hi to you as you pass me on campus, say, "HI, TAVO". :-) |
